Why the name "Epharmony"?

It's one of my favorite words....

The scientific definition of "Epharmony" reflects what we all try to do--live in harmony with our circumstances, values and goals, with our work, our relationships, with nature, and with the rapidly changing planet we live on.

Just as organisms which grow in harmony with their environments tend to live long and prosper (and have a sex life...) we human organisms must somehow adapt to this blur of a planet in order to survive and thrive. The pressure to change is a continual challenge, but change can make us stronger. Who can know for sure what we should change? and how? when? where? and even who?

To be sure, life isn't a puzzle to be solved. On the other hand, some of us enjoy trying to solve puzzles.... 

You will find no final answer/s here, but it's fun to chip away at the question/s.
